I have always been unsure of this volume of my life. Holding your hand had felt like grasping for a railing in the mist—the slight coldness of the metal seeping through the palm of my hand and the warmth of my own escaping into that that leads somewhere I could not see.
But you've held me more than I have held you like vines crawling round branches and for a moment, I had held my breath scared I would suffocate yet it had all been to adorn one another.
You grew
and I grew
until we grew.
