I have been wandering off to new places and meeting new people.

I have realised that as each person carries his own story, each place is not merely a setting but an aftermath itself of these stories. A constant exchange between the characters and the world exists.
In my first week in Melbourne, I have seen that it is a city of various lights and colours. Along the streets, there are people in dance battles, piano or cello concerts and art painting. There are people in suits and ties, black eyeliner and piercings, and high school uniforms. There are all sorts of shops from rustic cafes to music stores with metal songs on repeat. It is like a theatre where each laneway is a scene of its own.
(I honestly disliked the lack of cleanliness in Melbourne at first but maybe, that is the price you pay for all the hustle and bustle.)
Staying here by myself, I feel that somehow I have grown up in the way that being away from the familiarity of friends does not break me as much as before. Indeed, this world can never really suck the life out of anyone when you have a firm grasp of hope. It is quite funny though how you can only have hope when you are not completely sure on what you are plunging yourself into.

My first year in uni begins soon and I have not an inkling of how it is going to be but I am certain of where I am headed to. I do not know about the exact loops and turns but it will always be towards home. Until then, I will keep on travelling.
